Scott Naturals Tube-Free Bathroom Tissue from Crowdtap

Yet another great sampling opportunity from Crowdtap!  I was sent a four pack of Scott's Naturals Tube-Free Toilet Paper in the mail.

I love that this toilet paper is tubeless!  It saves energy to make and to recycle the tube.  I never realized how unnecessary the tube is!  The toilet paper was easy to put on the toilet paper holder.  At the end of the roll, the toilet paper took on a square shape, but otherwise was the same as any other toilet paper.

On to the toilet paper itself, I found it to be quite thin (1-ply), so more was needed to use than with other brands. The paper was also rough and uncomfortable.  I personally would not buy this toilet paper again due to the quality.  I hope that other brands, though, start to make toilet paper tubeless, so as to reduce waste.

Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant AND the Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser from Crowdtap

Crowdtap is another great website where you can get free samples! You simply sign up at crowdtap.com. Then, they'll send you emails when you can apply for product samples with a short survey. They e-mail you back a few days later saying whether you get to try the product. I was approved to try both the Zep Quick CLean Disinfectant and the Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser. I was given five small bottles total, so I could share with family and friends.

The Zep Quick Clean Disinfectant is an anti-bacteria cleaner, meaning it can even kill staph! I personally do not use anti-bacteria cleaners often as I feel they are not necessary in my home (I don't run a high risk of getting staph) and they may cause bacteria to become more resistant. I chose to use this product on my meat counter, as I want that to be very clean (for obvious reasons). It required very few sprays to have a clean and shiny counter. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. This product is extremely useful if you have a person in your home who is at high risk of staph (ex. a wrestler).

The Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner and Degreaser was able to get out my toughest stove stains without a problem. I just sprayed it on, barely scrubbed, and it came right off. AMAZING! I'm definitely buying this product again, as it lowers my use of elbow grease ;)

OB Tampons from Smiley360

Got to try out the OB Tampons (which come in Regular and Super) for free from Smiley360! I never thought of buying these before since they don't have an applicator. 

I was honestly quite nervous to try these! The no applicator made the tampons look quite daunting. I liked the idea that there was less waste, though, due to no applicator and smaller boxes. I worked up the courage to try one and really liked that I was able to place it myself so that it wasn't too far in (and thus it did not give me those weird period tampon cramps). I noticed, though, while going to the bathroom later on that the tampon felt like it was falling out, likely because it wasn't in as far. I think there's an art to placing the OB tampons, but there's a lot of potential. Also, the price is amazing compared to other brands. Personally, it is difficult that they do not have sizes higher than Super for those heavier days, so I'm only able to use them for about half my period. 

Pro: Definitely helped me not get cramps during the early days of my period. Since I can place it lower, it doesn't cause cramping problems.

Con: The lower position made the tampon feel odd after a few hours. Also, it was difficult that the highest absorbency was super. Super Plus would be very helpful!

Influenster Dean's List VoxBox

Hi All! I'll be using this site to post reviews about items I got for free on various websites! At the moment, I am signed up for BzzAgent, Smiley 360, Influenster, House Party, Crowd Tap, and Swaggable! At a later date I'll explain all about them and the neat things you can get (definitely good for those of us on a budget!).

So back to Influenster! They send out these amazing VoxBoxes where you get a ton of neat free things in one package.  This particular one was for college students. It included a package of Playtex Sport Tampons, a Softlips cube, Kiss Lashes, Covergirl foundation, Sinful Colors nail polish, Pilot FriXion pens, and Airheads Bites!

I gave the nail polish to my cousin. She absolutely loved it. Great to have little things to give as gifts! This particular color was part of their campaign to not text while driving. I believe it was called "No Text Red."

The pens were great! The ones they sent me are erasable. I mean they really work! It requires a bit of pressure on the eraser (attached to the pen), but the pen completely goes away. The color is a bit light, likely so it is easier to erase. I would highly recommend them, though, if you like using pens, but hate crossing out mistakes.

Lots of great stuff! I've yet to use quite a few of them as I already have a stash of tampons and chapstick! I'll try them out soon, though!
